Greensteel Production: space for tomorrow’s industry
For the planned site in Cologne-Lind, we are considering manufacturing, energy supply and material provision together. An insight into the site concept and the next steps envisaged.
Planning manufacturing as a whole
With the planned site in Cologne-Lind, we are creating space for the next phase of development. New machines, automation and a storage tower are envisaged for future production operations.
Including energy and surface finishing
Energy supply and surface finishing are also part of the planning. Our own photovoltaic system and fully electric powder coating are envisaged. Lower-carbon steel is intended for use where material requirements and technical suitability allow.
Our planned contribution
The planned target for the new site is a reduction of 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year. The planning status is October 2026; specific implementation and availability will be agreed for each project.
